For all the money we spend on the social sector as a country - roughly $4.5 trillion or 15% of GDP - it is still missing technology and data infrastructure at scale. Everest is the technology and digital identity company working to address this gap by deploying Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) to empower individual service providers, governments, foundations, and the individuals they serve. For service providers, Everest offers a software platform to better know their clients, record transactions, and access reports in seconds. We allow them to partner with each other, securely share data, and collaborate in how they support individuals and families. Our goal is to make it easy for people to navigate and access services, empower providers to offer more proactive social care, and ultimately help individuals achieve better health and life outcomes. For individuals, our primary innovation is the launch of the Everest ID, which is the country’s first universal social care identity. The Everest ID allows a person to control their data, and more easily traverse service providers in their area. Having a longitudinal record of social care is the first step to having more trusted, personalized care.
