About Everything Starts Small

Everything Starts Small is an international youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making society more environmentally sustainable and empowering youth through various initiatives. We have reached 2000 youth through our initiatives, and we are currently in eight countries (US, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, France, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Egypt). Everything Starts Small was co-founded in 2018 by Audrey and Kathleen on the island of Taiwan. Our partners include local businesses, schools, local Californian farmers, other nonprofits, and gardeners. Our various initiatives include our sustainability & coffee grounds project, our environmental education presentations and workshops, and many others. We spread climate awareness via social media, our student-run blog, and our literary journal named The Ark Review.
