About Evolution Architects

At Evolution Architects our aim is to provide innovative and original building design solutions, which first and foremost comply with our clients' brief and budget. As responsible built environment professionals, we are committed to sustainable architecture and therefore continually strive to implement green principles in our designs. We also encourage our clients to aim for a green star rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBSCA). Our design for 24 Richfond Circle was the first building in KwaZulu-Natal and the second in South Africa to achieve a four star green star rating from the GBSCA. The team at evolution Architects consists of a group of young professionals including graduate architects and competent architectural technicians. As a practice we have made the conscious decision to maintain a small yet efficient team of dynamic individuals with a strong work ethic. In this way we believe we are able to deliver a dedicated and personalised high level of service with a hands-on approach to each and every project. Evolution Architects have achieved a lot in a short space of time and are positive and excited about the future. We have been involved in the design, documentation and supervision of several prestigious projects throughout South Africa. Although we have experience in various fields of architecture, our special interests lie in retail architecture and green buildings.
