Evolution Dance Theatre develops, promotes and performs original Middle Eastern stories that have universal appeal. It utilizes Middle Eastern dance forms in combination with a variety of other dance genres and fusions as a canvas to create spectacles that incorporate live and recorded music, performances, videos, digital media, set décor, special effects and beautiful imagery to transport the audience on a wondrous journey into the depths of human Spirit. Evolution Dance Theatre focuses on our commonalities vs. our differences in order to spark social change. It creates one-of-a-kind storytelling experience while celebrating diversity. In addition it crosses boundaries of gender and generations to bridge the global cultural gaps to reinforce the universality of the human condition. The original "Follow Your Heart" production which premiered a few years ago received acknowledgement from Canada’s Prime Minister; The Honourable Justin Trudeau. Our latest production "Follow Your Heart - in the Ancient Persian Empire", to be performed in Las Vegas will have the most impact to spark social change due to global audiences in the entertainment capital of the world. Evolution Dance Theatre performs original Middle Eastern-inspired multimedia and multidisciplinary spectacles to both entertain and provoke dialogue on social, spiritual and humanistic themes. It showcases Middle Eastern traditions and displays the rich and colorful culture that is so mysterious to many of the Western world. Evolution Dance Theatre has a mandate to Entertain, Educate and Inspire. Evolution Dance Theatre also known as EDT was established as a Canadian federally registered not-for-profit company in 2008 and has opened an LLC in 2022 in USA to expand its productions. The company’s core values are; Unity, Universality and Integrity which are reflected strongly in all of its productions as well as in the spirit of the company.
