Evolvin’ is a purpose-led social enterprise, we unlock African talent by offering employability programmes that boost professional growth. Our profits are reinvested to fund scholarships for Kutafiti, our non-profit arm that supports youth who lack the means to enrol in our programmes. We began as Evolvin’ Women, a sponsor-led initiative focused on supporting women through professional development and career access. But over time, two things became clear. As our impact grew, more young men reached out, seeking access to the same tools and support. Inclusion has always been at the heart of our mission, so we expanded to meet the need. The number of applicants also grew beyond our grasp. To keep up with the demand, we evolved into a self-sustaining model that allows participants to self-fund the programme instead of relying on sponsorships, while ensuring those who don’t have the means are still supported through Kutafiti. Kutafiti is our non-profit arm, dedicated to providing training, employment, and farming opportunities to marginalised groups. We reinvest 50% of our net profits into scholarships to support these individuals to join our programmes, and help them rebuild their lives and gain long-term economic independence.
