About EVS Pet Urgent Care
EVS Pet Urgent Care is a daytime urgent care facility. While we are located inside of Petsmart, we are a separate entity and our clinic is 100% veterinary-owned and operated. We want to partner with veterinarians, and see the patients that they may not have the space in your schedule to care for immediately. These are patients who do not have emergencies, but who do need to be seen right away. Examples include: Ear/eye concerns/infections Skin concerns - itching, lumps, bumps Lameness Vomiting/diarrhea Urinary tract concerns Stable neurologic disease Lethargy and inappetence End of life care and euthansia We operate similar to a referral center. We have full diagnostic capabilities in house. After your patient's visit at our facility, you will be sent a discharge instruction, medical record, and your patients will be sent back to you for follow-up care. We do not perform any preventive care, such as vaccinations, nor do we carry any preventive medications such as heartworm, flea or tick prevention. We will also not perform any preventive surgical procedures or dentistry. All of these services will be referred back to your clinic to be completed, or if it is outside your scope, referred to a specialty center at your request.
