Ex Cantibus Gaudium (ECG) has over 30 years experience in the media, as a composers for film and Television. During this time, we have created some 3,000 soundtracks, countless songs and gained experience in many areas of production. ECG have a reputation for composing strong melodies, striking themes and soundscapes that grab your attention and really add something to the images. We have won 28 international awards, including 6 IVCA Golds for Best Music, IVCA Career in Industry Award (presented at the House of Lords in London), 2 New York Festival Golds, 1 US Film Festival Gold, 1 World Media Festival Gold and, most recently Gold at BAFTA in the EVCOM Awards. Our areas of work are TV, live Events, films, commercials, theatre, radio and library music available on Pond5. We have worked for all the major UK broadcasters (BBC, ITV, C4, C5 and Sky), several European networks, Discovery, and National Geographic in the USA. ECG also works extensively in the Middle East – Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar, where we work with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra.
