About Excel Aquatics

Excel Aquatics was created to provide high quality swim instruction for children and adults in the Capital Region, from beginners to competitive swimmers. Learn to Swim We offer on site group lessons at the Sunnyview Wellness Center in Schenectady and the College of St. Rose in Albany: Small Classes-Each class has a maximum ratio of 4:1 students to instructor, to ensure the safety of your child. Private and semi-private lessons are also available if your child responds best to this teaching style. Quality of Instruction-All instructors are fully qualified and knowledgeable in the sport of swimming. Additionally, a customized curriculum has been created to satisfy children of all abilities and skill levels. Warm Water-Lessons in Schenectady are conducted in a 92º pool. This creates an environment where both children and parents are comfortable, and can fully focus on learning to swim! We also offer the "Our School at Your Pool" program, which are private lessons at the convenience of your own home! Competitive Clinics In addition to our learn to swim program, we also offer clinics for both competitive swimmers and triathletes. Here we will provide swimmers a unique opportunity to be coached by experienced Coaches and participate with others with similar abilities and goals. During the clinics, proper stroke mechanics and race skills are taught and reinforced while overall fitness levels are developed.These clinics are intended to supplement current training plans, and not replace them.
