About Excelerator Consortium
Excelerator Consortium, a partnership between Winning Pitch and Impact Innovation, was created in 2015 to deliver the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP) contract throughout Wales. Both Winning Pitch and Impact Innovation were successful deliverers of the Welsh Government's High Potential Start-up programme throughout Wales. Operating as part of the full Business Wales service, the Accelerated Growth Programme, jointly funded by the Welsh Government and the European Regional Development Fund, focuses on the specific support needs of businesses that are committed to rapid exponential growth. Key outputs of the programme include the creation of 10,000 new jobs, support provided to 1,000 businesses, an increase in exports of £200m and £200m of private sector investment. Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme is designed to help companies achieve their potential and fast track them to the next level while creating a significant number of new jobs, increasing exports and supporting sustainable business growth.
