After co-managing a Bain & Co spin-off and strategy boutique and serving many previous years in transformational senior leadership and P&L ownership roles, we launched Execution Gurus in late 2017 to focus on driving strategic execution - a discipline about which we are passionate and in which we possess truly world class experience. In fact, we are the creators and pioneers of the “ChAMP methodology”, which codifies our over 40 combined years of experience leading change management activities on behalf of corporations, boards, and investors. ChAMP – Change Acceleration Management Process – is a superior method for securing results from strategic plans, project management,100-day plans, post-merger integrations, and business line and product launches, as well as change management and transformations. “Execution” is a hot topic these days, especially given the speed of technology-enabled business, outsized shareholder growth expectations, and the high valuations and full multiples paid for acquisitions. “Buying right”, a “great strategy”, and a “robust exit model” are certainly all key ingredients for a solid investment; yet execution is the one element in the investment lifecycle that remains elusive for many investors and challenging for many companies of all sizes facing change imperatives.
