Since 1987, the Executive Service Corps of the Triangle has provided professional, affordable consulting to area nonprofits to help them achieve their missions. Our services are provided by dedicated and experienced professionals who have the time, flexibility and desire to provide their services on a volunteer basis. ESC consulting services include Board Self Assessments, Board Retreat Facilitation, Board Development, Strategic Planning, Coaching for Executive Directors, Financial Diagnostic Reviews and Custom Designed Programs to meet the specific needs of each nonprofit client. Our volunteer consultants are experienced senior executives and professionals with business and nonprofit backgrounds who volunteer their time to "give back" to the community. They have the passion, knowledge, training and commitment to help nonprofits make better decisions and thereby become more effective and efficient. The population we serve is hundreds of Triangle nonprofits in four NC counties (Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake); the organizations specialize in such diverse areas as human services, the arts, youth development, education, social services, affordable housing, and health care.
