The University of Exeter's premier society for those of a literary, poetic or otherwise bookish mind. The English Society is a friendly and lively society with lots of exciting plans for 2023/24. Working alongside the English department, we aim to enhance your studies with tons of extra-curricular events, may they be intellectual – theatre trips, guest speakers, and career workshops – or social – regular nights out, bar crawls, pub quizzes, formal dinners, and our legendary Spring Ball.
