We offer an integrated project delivery process where a single contract between Exigent and the Owner is prepared for design and construction (design services are provided to Exigent by Stratton Brook Associates, a healthcare planning and design firm that has developed innovative design solutions since 2002). The working relationship between the founders of these two firms goes back many years, and there is a proven track record of working together to complete successful healthcare projects. With this approach, we have developed an integrated process that we know can reliably provide a definitive budget early in the design process (often within days of an initial kickoff meeting), with an integrated fast track schedule for procurement and construction of the project. Compared to the traditional design-bid-build process, where your actual costs are not confirmed until after the Construction Documents are completed and the project is competitively bid, we will be able to reduce budget uncertainty and shorten the overall project schedule by months.
