A few years ago, I was standing on the bow of a small ship in the Sea of Cortez. I was there for work, creating and managing expeditions for National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions ships. I'd come from working aboard small ships and then marketing those experiences, a blend of logistics, storytelling, and customer experience. What I didn’t realize then was how much I was learning about what inspires action, and what makes an experience unforgettable. Since then, I’ve worked behind the scenes with global cruise operators, purpose-led startups, and mission-driven nonprofits. I’ve developed content strategy for Seatrade Cruise Global, helped grow The Biomimicry Institute’s LinkedIn presence by over 50%, and advised founders and marketing teams across the travel space.
