About Explorer Junior
Explorer Junior was founded in 2013 in the National University of Singapore (NUS) by 3 graduates who share a common interest in early childhood education. We believe that every child is a curious explorer, unique and special in his / her own way and should be given the tools, opportunity and environment to explore the world at his / her own pace. The mainstream, one-size-fits-all education system that is prevalent in Singapore is not able to maximize the potential of every unique child. Explorer Junior aims to research, design and develop opportunities to nurture every child’s curiosity & creativity, allowing them to explore their interests & talents and construct their own meaning of the world through experiencing, tinkering, understanding & innovating. Explorer Junior is supported by the National University of Singapore (NUS Enterprise). The Company has also received a Start-up grant awarded by SPRING Singapore.
