ExposureFX was founded in late 2014, primarily to photograph local events in and around the Dharamsala (HP, India) region. Having attended a number of events of diverse nature from close quarters during the past three years we were dismayed by the lack of 'connection' between the photographer and his/her subjects. This clearly showed up in the photographs, which mostly looked artificial and staged. We also, routinely get our personal photographs professionally printed in Photo-book (album) format. In our interactions with the photography houses, we did not fail to notice the unmistakable detachment and lack of forethought and caring with which these professional photographers approached an event. It is in this context that the idea of ExposureFX was conceived. We came up with a core set of simple ideas that we believe can alter the 'photography experience'. You can learn more about these ideas in the how we work section. These ideas were quickly tested out and, encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive response, ExposureFX was unleashed
