About Express & Release Therapeutic Dance

Express & Release Therapeutic Dance is a safe space for the community to accept their emotions, express them through movement, and release them from the self. In our classes, we slow down. Pause. Consciously breathe. Feel our skin and move in ways that are not just routinized but are instead endlessly authentic. Our goal as a therapeutic dance space is to help clients move through a space of dysregulation and dissociation to full embodiment and loving and accepting the self. Through our classes, we watch participants move through emotional dysregulation to freely and confidently express emotions that have been suppressed for many years. Participants find hope, healing, and restoration in their bodies as they accept, express, and release emotions, sensations, and trauma that are currently being stored in the body. We offer workshops for adults, emotional release classes for kids, retreats, and one-on-one sessions. You can find us in the communities at local schools, community programs, and throughout the area, as we offer this novel form of movement to accept, express, and release emotions from the body. Through our workshops for adults, classes for kids, retreats, and one-on-one emotion release sessions we guide you through movement practices that you can use to move away from “stressing about things” and instead practice movements that help relieve stress and encourage your well-being.
