Heute ist die Organisation die wohl bedeutendste Informations-, Verbraucherschutz- und Promotionorganisation für Leicht-Elektro-Fahrzeuge (LEVs) weltweit. E-Mobilität muss erfahren werden. Seit 1997 ist Test IT Parcours unterwegs, heute EU gefördert. Neben der direkten Präsenz bietet www.extraenergy.org einen Schatz an Informationen. Im nun gewachsenen Markt geht es dem Verein darum, Entwicklungen zu beschleunigen und Qualitätsanstrengungen im LEV Segment zu forcieren. Mit BATSO.org und EnergyBus.org arbeitet ExtraEnergy an der Schaffung und Durchsetzung von Standards für Technik und Sicherheit von LEVs.
