Who we Are: Exurgo, Inc. is a patented, social impact start-up that was created to optimize healthcare funding and its availability for the indigent patients while reducing the financial burden on healthcare providers. We view healthcare as a basic right, regardless of income, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, or orientation. We strive to increasing equitable, dignified and timely care for the underserved, within both the civilian and veteran communities, as well as reducing the cost of care for the healthcare providers. What we’re working with: As of 2016, 28.2 million (10.3%) individuals were uninsured, however, this number is on the rise according to the Gallup survey as of October 2017. Disrupting the system through our patent-pending system: • The uninsured patients are free to choose any hospital that is subscribed to Exurgo’s system. • The underserved patients are able to receive free medical care with dignity and choice. • Medical decisions from the care providers will no longer be influenced or tied to reimbursement. • Lack of funds/insurance/ income will no longer be an obstacle for receiving equitable, dignified and timely medical care. • The hospitals will reduce the costs to the uninsured and increase profitability, while concurrently expanding their community benefit mandates.
