About EZdrinking

Founded in 2013, EZdrinking is a spirits blog and consultancy run by the husband and wife team Eric and Tia Zandona. As an independent agency, they post unbiased reviews, curate spirits events, and provide a variety of consulting services from product development to marketing strategy for spirit brands. Over the past decade Eric Zandona has worked to educate and spread awareness of well-crafted spirits, through EZdrinking, public presentations, tasting events, articles, books, judging in spirit competitions, and as the director of the American Distilling Institute’s International Spirits Competition. In 2018, Eric was a shortlist nominee for the International Wine and Spirits Competition's Spirits Communicator of the Year Award. And his books The Bourbon Bible, and The Tequila Dictionary were both selected by the Tales of the Cocktail Awards Committee as Top 10 Nominees for Best New Book on Drinks Culture, History or Spirits. In addition, Eric consults to help clients develop and bring new spirits to market, providing product feedback, and information about trends in the industry. Tia Zandona is driven to empower others to reach their goals. At the age of 17, she moved from Maui, Hawaii to San Francisco and worked for the next 10 years in the nonprofit world. During that time, she created educational programs for young children, administered a homeless drop-in center, and as a department head, coordinated thousands of volunteers to work with other nonprofits in San Francisco and NGOs in Southeast Asia to serve those in need. Today, Tia uses her decade of experience in event planning, promotion, and collaborating with stakeholders to help spirit brands to find and communicate their story, reach new markets, and realize their goals.
