About F is for Fonts
We love getting our hands dirty so that you don’t have to… In fact we love marks, splatters and drips so much that we decided to find a way to keep as much of the hand-painted detail as possible to help you create that authentically painted look without making a mess. That's why all of our typefaces come as both vector files and font files. Detailed vector files (.ai & .eps) allowing you to manually place each character and keep all the detail - Think of it like typesetting. As well as simplified font files (.otf & .ttf) which can be used during development to help position the detailed versions - Or used in their own right. Wanting a more realistic hand-made feel? We’ve also included alternative versions of each glyph to reduce duplication. We think this gives a feel that someone has created each word rather than it being a bought typeface - As much as possible anyway!
