About Fabco-Air
Fabco-Air, a member of Festo Group, was founded in 1958 by Alfred W. Schmidt in Cleveland, Ohio. Best known for our Pancake® cylinder, the product line has grown extensively. Fabco-Air's facility includes more than 61,000 sq. ft, including in-house engineering, production, and assembly. Fabco-Air has a dedicated workforce of 75 people with an average length of employment of more than 24 years. Between Bill Schmidt (President) , Scot LaMar (Vice President), and George Edwards (Chief Engineer), Fabco has a combined work experience of 128 years driving innovation. About 45% of our business is special products designed to customer specifications, and our engineering staff is ready to assist customers in custom designs and any technical aspect of our business. We also have full CAD support, available in 2D or 3D, downloadable from our web site. Fabco-Air has a domestic network of stocking distributors that blankets the US, as well as over 30 international distributors to serve your needs abroad. Our product line includes Air Prep., Pancake® cylinders, Square-1® cylinders, tie rod cylinders, Multi-Power® cylinders and presses and Global Series™ extruded body cylinders. Our automation components consist of many styles of pneumatic linear slides, rotary actuators, angular and parallel grippers. To supplement the above Fabco-Air offers a full line of control valves, both solenoid and manually controlled, flow controls, and reed, proximity and solid-state electronic sensors.
