About Fabhesive
From a Twisted Skirt to a Business That Stuck One rainy morning on my way to work—umbrella in one hand, purse in the other—my favorite pencil skirt decided to turn itself around. By the time I reached the office, the zipper and slit were front and center. With both hands full, there was no quick fix. I looked a mess. That wardrobe malfunction sparked a conversation with the women in my office, and I quickly realized: this wasn’t just my problem—it was ours. Every woman I spoke to had experienced the same thing. That was my lightbulb moment. I knew I had to find a solution. I started working on a product that could keep skirts in place and prevent them from rotating around the waist. Nights, weekends, lunch breaks—every spare minute went into developing what would become Fabhesive. My kitchen table turned into my workspace, and my daily commute became my classroom—thanks to countless entrepreneurial podcasts. It was a year of learning by doing. I had to figure out everything from product development to branding, and I did it all while still working full time. There were challenges—many of them. But persistence, curiosity, and the belief that I was solving a real problem kept me moving forward. Today, Fabhesive is a real business. What started as a side hustle is now a growing brand—and I’m just getting started. New products are on the horizon, and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. I hope my story inspires someone to take that first step. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you just have to begin.
