About Face the Future Foundation

Face the Future Foundation is dedicated to raising funds and public awareness in support of the multi-disciplinary patient care at University of Illinois Craniofacial Center so that every child with craniofacial differences lives a confident, joyful and fulfilling life. We believe that every child deserves a smile-filled future. We believe that every child and their families deserve the best multi-disciplinary care regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or ability to pay. We believe that all patients who have craniofacial differences deserve the best opportunities to live a fully-embodied life and reach their full potential. We believe that the best craniofacial care includes: - being treated by the most compassionate and knowledgeable medical team - who have access to state-of-the-art equipment - and provide wrap-around emotional, cognitive, and psychological support services - all under one roof - for however long the patient needs care. We accomplish our mission by: -Coordinating tours of the Center to help educate people on the breadth of the condition and what is possible to change lives -Shining a light on cutting-edge techniques used at the Center to treat the whole patient on-site -Spotlighting patients’ journeys -Raising awareness about the depth and breadth of the condition -Planning social events to share joy with patients -Coordinating volunteers -Honoring the medical team -Planning special events that bring in a wide donor base from all over the greater Chicago area to raise needed funds -Partnering with the Center so that the money we raise goes toward specific needs that improve the children’s lives -Featuring stories about the children and their families and how FFF supported The Center’s customized approaches in improving the patients’ lives.
