About Facilitators for Social Change
Facilitators engages in the designing and refining social impact change theories, programmatic strategies, inspire disruptive business models, strengthening collaborative learning systems, and multi-stakeholder partnerships for social impact. Our two overlapping domains are: Working as a 'Learning Partner' strengthening learning system through collective, collaborative critical reflections and synthesis, and Designing disruptive approaches and program designs for systemic shifts and social impacts. We engage with partners both globally and locally, accompanying them in the experimentation and learning journeys, holding ourselves accountable for the change we seek together. Our domain specialization is in the broad field of Inclusive Economies - Financial Inclusion, community owned financial services (Cooperatives, Self-Help Groups, VSLAs), Inclusive Market Systems (value-chain analysis, market system development, social enterprises, urban economies, non-violent economy); and Learning Systems - applying a combination of values, principles and practices from the fields of adult education as the basis for social change, feminist approaches for learning and collective, collaborative and power-aware change, and systems approach to design and facilitate experiential and experimental approaches in complex social systems. We have undertaken assignments for program designing, organizational learning systems in multi-partner and multi-country programs, capacity building applying 'learning circles' methodology, providing mentorship for social impact leadership, facilitation of virtual learning networks, and programmatic assessments applying 'learning inquiry' approach. Our local engagements are with a number of social impact organizations - Just Good Business, SAFE, PARNS, and ACALA. We assemble teams to deliver of our programs based on the assignment and learning partnership objectives.
