FAIR REALTY is a fully Canadian owned company that opened its first brokerage office in Victoria, British Columbia in 2002. After many years in the real estate business, we realized that there had to be a better brokerage business model in the real estate industry. That experience and frustration created the fuel for a clear vision and a strong desire to create a new brokerage model that would be FAIR for the agents and offer agents the flexibility to serve their clients even better than they were currently doing. From this simple but significant inspiration, FAIR REALTY was born. Now with 17 Branch offices throughout BC and 2 Branches in Alberta, and growing every day. While many of our agents work in the various offices, the brokerage was designed from the outset to allow agents to be fully supported and have the capability of working remotely. Our leading-edge technology platform is structured to afford agents the same level of support, service, and tools whether they are physically in the office or working remotely from home, or literally anywhere else. Real estate brokerages, like many other businesses, are undergoing rapid and accelerating change. One of the significant changes in the brokerage landscape is the recognition that the agent plays the most important and central role in any real estate transaction - not the brokerage. The old brokerage-centric model of doing business is no longer working and there has been a significant shift in the way agents and clients view the Real Estate Brokerage Industry and the brokerage's role in it.
