About Fairhaven Housing Association

Fairhaven is a specialist provider of privately owned retirement housing. The organisation was formed, and built its first schemes, in 1985 which placed it right at the forefront of the privately owned retirement housing sector. We currently manage some 200 properties at seven locations across Lancashire. Fairhaven has developed detailed knowledge of the sector over the last 30 or so years and has successfully managed its housing stock through times of boom and bust. Throughout we have placed the emphasis on the provision of good quality housing that meets the needs of its occupants whilst creating communities around them, therefore as residents needs increase and capabilities decrease they need not worry about the home they live in. Fairhaven has huge ambitions to grow, not only have we developed a model that is of great value to our residents but we have an infrastructure capable of delivering much more. We can clearly see the huge challenges that lie ahead in the care and housing markets and are utterly convinced that the greater provision of good quality, privately owned supported housing can play an important role in tacking this problem. Our infrastructure allows us to deliver all aspects real estate and facilities management across Lancashire.
