About FAKT Consult for Management, Training and Technologies

FAKT GmbH was founded in 1986 as a consulting company for government and non-governmental organisations in the field of development cooperation. Looking back at more than 30 years of experience in development cooperation, FAKT provides a range of consultancy services in selected thematic domains. Thanks to its multidisciplinary team and international network of consultants, FAKT is able to assemble teams for various types of assignments at short notice. In close co-operation with partners and clients, we offer tailor-made solutions on the required levels of intervention - from grassroots up to policy. FAKT and its interdisciplinary team have solid international experience in the fields of work: - Education and Employment - Natural Resource Governance - Rural Development - Climate Change Adaptation - Advocacy and Social Responsibility - Management - Evaluation and Impact Our work is commissioned by both non-governmental and church-based development agencies, and by bilateral and multilateral development organisations such as GIZ, KfW, EU and UN-Organisations. The FAKT head office in Stuttgart, Germany, is equipped with the necessary human and technical resources to handle complex projects. FAKT works with permanent office staffs, associated consultants, who have been working with FAKT for many years, and a larger pool of freelance consultants. For the composition of project teams, FAKT always considers gender balance criteria. Four programme managers with long-standing development experience are in charge of the core thematic fields of FAKT. Additionally, a team of project assistants with ample knowledge of a variety of consulting contexts and comprehensive language skills supports the management team in steering projects.
