About FAMCO

FAMCO (House of Quality Products), a Mysore based organic fertiliser manufacturing company was launched in 1984. It is recognised by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Karnataka. It has been bestowed upon a lot of premium international certifications over the years including ISO 9001:2015 for its best quality management, and ISO 140001:2015 for its best environmental friendly practices. FAMCO promoted clean green environmentally friendly ways of doing agriculture at a time when there was a rise in the use of chemical fertilisers in the country. The brand names FAMCO and Tiger Brand gained a lot of traction and popularity over the years making it one of Kerala’s preferred choices for Bone Meal. With a manufacturing capacity of 600 tons per month of Bone Meal, FAMCO supplies to a diverse set of regions which include Kerala, Karnataka, and many other southern states. Currently, FAMCO has a staff of about 25 people with an annual turnover exceeding Rs 10 Crores. The current supply of organic fertilisers per year by FAMCO is 3000 tons, and the company has introduced new products such as Mysore Meal and Neem Cake FAMCO’s Managing director Mr. Abdul Aleem was recently awarded the “Entrepreneur Icon India 2022” by the Carlton Media Events held at Shangri La Hotel on 07th August 2022.
