Working towards racial equity in all areas of kinship care, our services include training and consultancy for professionals involved in childrens services. we also Our approach is to equip kinship carers with appropriate training to assist them to achieve the best outcomes in their caring role. At Families in Harmony our vision is a world where kinship caregivers are empowered, supported, and celebrated as pillars of strength within their families and communities generally and particularly Black kinship carers. We envision a future where every child in need finds a loving and culturally affirming home within their extended family, preserving their identity and connection to their roots. h Our mission is fuelled by the belief that the bonds of kinship are powerful and that every child has the right to grow up in an environment that cherishes their heritage, fosters their potential, and honours their unique journey. At Families in Harmony, we understand the unique and rich dynamics that make up Black families. We are dedicated to working tirelessly to create lasting change that amplifies the voices, strengths, and stories of kinship caregivers, paving the way for a brighter future for generations to come."
