About Family Christian Center
It is our vision to build a biblically functioning, Acts 2 community of believers that will help get the gospel into every home in the six-county area. Our definition of success is a changed life. Our mission is to help people find and follow Jesus. FCC began in 1987 with the idea that the family should be our first priority. We have experienced consistent growth and now minister to one of the largest congregations in the area. We utilize modern music styles, video, drama, dance, multimedia, etc. These diverse elements help us reinforce the message we are trying to convey so that those who attend are able to understand and remember these principles as they learn to apply them to their own unique situations. We are deeply committed to supporting outreach projects in our community, short-term mission trips around the country and to foreign lands, and permanent missionaries in the US and abroad. We allocate a tithe (10%) of every dollar that is given in offerings to our outreach and mission funds. Additionally, several projects are chosen each year for which we raise funds to help support a cause we believe in. Recent projects have included digging wells for clean drinking water in 3rd-world countries, building orphanages in Myanmar, purchasing freedom for several children who were trapped in slave trade operations, and providing finances for cleft & palette surgeries for 5 orphans in a remote area of China.
