Family Crisis Council of Rowan is the only domestic violence/sexual assault response agency in Rowan County. Beginning in 1978, Family Crisis Council of Rowan has dutifully served survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Rowan County. Family Crisis Council of Rowan's mission is to create pathways to hope, healing, and empowerment for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Through our array of services (Emergency Shelter, 24/7 Crisis Line, Court Advocacy, Mental Health Services, Special Victim Program, and Case Management), we support survivors in every step of their journey from immediately after victimization through their journey to survivorhood. Services are provided free of charge to ensure accessibility to all survivors.
