Since 1951, The Family Handyman has provided the knowledge for homeowners to take on projects that, at first glance, appear to be out of their realm of expertise. Back then we recognized men and women were being shuffled into careers of specialization and they needed a guide to provide them with the skills that would cultivate self-reliance in their adventures of homeownership.
