About Family Music Centers
Family Music Centers started as a small piano and organ shop in Henderson, NV in 1995. With 4 locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley, today it is Nevada’s largest full-line music store and has the largest lesson program in the state. It also has the largest guitar selection in Henderson. At the largest store sits a 200 seat theater where local music teachers hold recitals, a local church holds its sermons, and kids acting classes are held. This theater is also the famous Alley, a venue for bands such as Paramore and The Killers, as well as the venue where Panic! at the Disco signed their first label. Our fantastic Repair Shop is dedicated to keeping instruments in their peak playing condition, and service the instruments of local musicians, as well as professional musicians of the Las Vegas Strip shows. The founder and owner, Jim Mason, a Berklee School of Music graduate, has been a local musician on the Las Vegas Strip since the 70s. His goal with Family Music has been we work hard to build a relationship with the local community of Las Vegas and be a place where people can come to learn music and expand their musical lifestyle.
