Our journey mirrors the story of many others. We embarked on our family adventure in 2012 with our first child, steadily growing to a "Family of Five". Yet, our recent addition has now upgraded us to a "Family of Six"! Navigating the world of parenting, we encountered an issue common to many - the items we procured for our children often proved short-lived, or were too age-specific, leading to a surplus of unused products. This sparked a need for us to rethink our purchasing strategy. We started seeking items that offered wider application, providing maximum utility across different age groups. However, despite our best efforts, we found many products unable to survive the wear and tear from just one of our brood, let alone multiple. Thus, we took a leap of faith and embarked on a new endeavor - crafting our own products, which is how our balance board, learning tower, and pikler came to be. Our mission is to create products that we, ourselves, are fully confident in using. We prioritise multi-use items that will truly endure. This has been particularly evident with our wooden products, which have already been passed down from child to child, showing promising signs of withstanding generations of play.
