About Family Promise of Greater Beloit
Family Promise of Greater Beloit is an emergency shelter for homeless families that works with 15+ congregations & community volunteers to deliver shelter services & case management to families in need. Our program has a 3 prong approach: Prevention/Diversion (rental assistance & alternate housing solutions), Emergency Shelter (intensive case management, shelter, food), & Stabilization (post-graduation support to lower recidivism). Currently we're sheltering a maximum of 9 families at a time in our new 24/7 fixed site shelter. Our volunteers will provide evening hosting & food for our sheltered families. Our case manager and director will administer rental assistance & diversion, work with our sheltered families on gaining self-sufficiency, & do follow-up check-ins with graduated families to ensure their stability.
