At its inception, our agency was a grassroots effort to address homelessness in our county and has blossomed into a full spectrum of services to aid those experiencing a housing crisis. The mission of Family Promise of Sussex County is to secure housing stability and sustainability for those in crisis… because everyone deserves a home. Ourapproach involves prevention services before familiesbecome homeless, shelter to help families experiencing homelessness, and housing stabilization programs oncefamilieshave secured housing. Our services include Emergency Shelter, Opening Doors: Men’s Day Program, Intensive Case Management Services, Utility Assistance Programs, Employment and Careering Counseling, Homelessness Prevention, Rapid Rehousing, Shelter Diversion, and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs.
