Dr. Carter has been helping people get back to an active, pain free life since his clinic opened in Edmond in 2002. As a chiropractor with experience, he is committed to promoting a healthy, active lifestyle for his patients. Dr. Carter has high standards and terrific family values. In fact, patients tell him regularly that they feel like they are part of the family and it's nice to have someone who will listen. Dr. Carter continually strives to learn the latest and best treatments for his patients. He has been trained in thirteen different techniques, which offers him many options for his patients so that they can be treated as an individual. This enables Dr. Carter to be able to help all age groups, from tiny babies to patients nearing the century mark. Dr. Carter is the only chiropractor in the Oklahoma City area to have received Advanced Competency in "Whiplash Injury Biomechanics & Brain Traumatology" at the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Nearly 3 million whiplash injuries occur every year in the U.S., and that almost half of these will experience long-term or permanent pain or disability.
