About FAMU-FSU Biomedical Engineering Society
BMES provides a support system for students in the Biomedical Engineering program as well as other related majors. It provides informational meetings about internal and external academical and professional resources. It organizes events to spread knowledge about updates in the biomedical industry and draws upon the faculty of the program to describe current endeavors within the biomedical engineering perspective. It collaborates with companies to present internship opportunities and works to increase its interaction with the community and bring awareness of the program to local high schools. In doing so, BMES aims to enhance students’ experiences, increase enrollment, and continue to develop the program at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.
