About FAMU-FSU Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association
Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association, popularly known as "MEGSA," was established in Fall 2019 and is moderated by FAMU - FSU's Mechanical Engineering Department. MEGSA aims to promote interaction between mechanical engineering graduate students and other relevant parties. We aim to organize various events and co-curricular activities relating to graduate students' academic, professional, and social interests. In the past, we have organized graduate student seminar sessions to share knowledge and experience in the diverse domains of mechanical engineering. The idea of the graduate student seminar session is to present your ongoing research to your peers in a friendly environment. We have also organized outreach and recreational activities to foster leadership and exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere. We will continue to organize such events for ME graduate students. One of our goals is to represent the interest of mechanical engineering graduate students before the department and college of engineering. We appreciate the active participation of graduate students and look forward to knowing your suggestions for future events. Please feel free to reach us.
