ABOUT US... Established since 1986, Fapomed is a portuguese company and a European manufacturer of single use Medical Devices, specialized in production of Surgical gowns, Surgical drapes, Custom Procedure Trays (CPT’S) and EPI`s – suits and protective accessories. With particular emphasis on the satisfaction of our customers, we create and develop new products tailor made, by placing at your disposal a large team of professionals ready to answer any questions and be able to deal with your requests in a quick and simple way, and with fully guarantee of confidentiality. With 3 factories in Portugal and Ukraine, the company has at the moment 16.000 sqm of production area, of which 4.000 sqm are controlled atmosphere and 800 sqm of clean room. Throughout its activity, the company has been actively involved in the fields of Research & Development, Quality and Production Management, and this in close complicity with strategic customers and suppliers in various countries in Europe, Africa, USA and South America. As result of the recognition,nationally and internationaly, of the competence and high qualifications of its staff, technicians of Fapomed have been integrating for several years, the Portuguese Working Group with the European CEN / TC 2005 WG 14 , in charge of the development of standards for Medical Devices Class I in Europe.
