Transforming health care in Far North Queensland since 1997, the Foundation has contributed more than $27.82 million towards vital health care improvements across our region. We serve more than 285,000 people from Tully to Torres Strait, supporting 9 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 53 primary health centers through the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service. Our unique social enterprise model, including cafés, car parks, vending machines, catering services, and other commercial operations, covers all administrative costs - ensuring every donated dollar goes directly to improving health care services. We're more than just a foundation - we're a connector. We partner with health providers, the FNQ community, and our dedicated volunteer network to bring quality health care closer to home. Through community events, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and public support, we fund modern equipment, facility upgrades, professional development, and research initiatives that make a real difference. As advocates for our public hospitals and health centres, we ensure their needs are heard and met. With the support of our amazing volunteer army, we're committed to building a healthier north, making sure every health care dollar creates maximum impact for our community.
