Far Too Young is an US based non-profit that is dedicated to uplift the lives of desolate children and adolescents here at home in the US and internationally. With the Covid-19 pandemic deaths in the millions across the world, the war in Europe which is further escalating, the global economy, public healthcare and social wellbeing have been seriously compromised of late. Adding to the overwhelming pandemic, war and chaos, major social problems are once again escalating to the fore and it is bound to get worse by the day. Over 6.3 million refugees are fleeing in the aftermath of the Ukraine crisis. Underneath shrouded, children and girls are at great risk of being sold as slaves , are being forced to marry, are being trafficked and sold to brothels, sexual exploitation and violence's against children have increased significantly since the beginning of the pandemic and war. In the US alone between the years 2000 to 2017, almost 300,000 minors between the age of 14 to 18 were married as children and the vast majority (86%) were married to adult men and this is increasing! Gender based violence issues like sex trafficking, rape, child marriage, domestic abuse needs immediate attention and advocacy in order for it to be curtailed and stopped. It is therefore urgently imperative for all stakeholders to heed necessary intervention to save the society and the world from further social chaos and instability. Let us all come together and be united to fight social injustice! FAR TOO YOUNG
