About Farmers on 57th
We are a non profit organization operating a therapeutic, educational and productive urban farm. We grow food, flowers, herbs and community on the grounds of George Pearson Centre (GPC), a Vancouver Coastal Health facility. Once home to 120 people living with disabilities, GPC is slowly closing, as redevelopment on this land spreads. An urban farm is in the plans. We operate and live on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish people. The farm is located in the Marpole Oakridge area, on Heather St near W 57th Ave, in Vancouver, BC.
