About FarmStrong Foundation

Founded in 2016, FarmStrong foundation is a Swiss non-profit with an international focus, promoting resilient and structured rural economic development through integrated sustainable agricultural production systems. The foundation’s community development programs contribute to securing basic needs and fundamental human rights, including - access to clean drinking water, food security & nutritional needs, disease prevention & basic health care. A special focus is also put on educating & training farmers, empowering women in the community and preserving biodiversity. Our mission: FarmStrong seeks to improve the livelihoods of farmers and local communities by designing, implementing, and monitoring rural development programs and sustainable agricultural systems. We are working closely with private and public institutions such as governments, businesses, and partners, that are helping us secure systemic change. We are focusing our efforts in countries that are facing important social and environmental challenges, including poverty and deforestation. Built on solid evidence, technological innovation and expertise, our programs are all carefully crafted in order to face/address these complex challenges and have a real/meaningful impact.
