Faro Marine Services Pty Ltd, a South Australian owned and operated marine and cargo surveying company was established on the 4th of March 2000, to service the maritime industry. The aim of the company is to provide an independent professional service in the maritime industry. The company, although based in Adelaide, South Australia, can offer services not only in all ports and locations in South Australia, but also attend in all Australian ports and abroad. Since inception the company has grown from strength to strength, servicing clients not only based locally or interstate but also internationally. Sergio Mensitieri (son-in-law of Capt Aniello (Nello) Magliulo) has been with Faro Marine Services since February 2013 and was promoted to Operations Manager early in 2016. Sergio has taken over as Principal and Director of Faro Marine Services effective 1st July 2019, at which time Capt Nello retired from full-time work. Capt Nello will be providing continuous support in the capacity of expert Marine Consultant. The business aims to maintain strong family based connections drawing on Capt Nello's extensive knowledge with more than 40 years in the industry.
