MENA-Forum is a global professional services forum part of FAROLCO Ltd, a company whose objective is to counsel its best advice and / or help resolve any challenging issues encountered when undertaking Building and Infrastructure Sustainability development in the Middle East and North Africa region. LafargeHolcim Foundation define “Sustainability” as : One of the world’s most talked about but least understood words. Its meaning is often clouded by differing interpretations and by a tendency for the subject to be treated superficially. For most companies, countries and individuals who do take the subject seriously the concept of sustainability embraces the preservation of the environment as well as critical development-related issues such as the efficient use of resources, continual social progress, stable economic growth, and the eradication of poverty. MENA-Forum is also set up to assist in international exchange between all members of the MENA-Forum whilst allowing access to current and previous issues. Non-MENA-Forum members can subscribe and join in the on-going discussions if they so wish.
