About Fashion@Brown
Brown's oldest incubator of style on campus and point of interaction with creatives and leaders in the world of fashion at large. Fashion@Brown is a pre-professional organization comprised of 130 dedicated fashion aficionados, including designers, photographers, writers, marketers, and social media gurus who work together to celebrate Brown student talent and style, harnessing the wisdom of our education to inform ourselves and the community about the fashion industry, with a special emphasis on sustainability. F@B strives to engage and unite fashion-oriented minds on campus through editorial and social media content, workshops, lectures, photo shoots, and guest speakers. Past speakers have included Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Stella McCartney, Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, Olivier Rousteing, Emma Chamberlain, and more. The culmination of F@B’s year is Brown Fashion Week, Distinguished Speaker Series, and Runway Show. The show features collections from Brown and RISD student designers, modeled on Brown and RISD models. And the Distinguished Speaker Series is composed of conversations and talks by fashion industry leaders who enthuse and educate not only F@B members, but the entire Brown student body in attendance.
