About FastTrack Career Connections

FastTrack Career Connections is founded by four Ottawa University graduates in Surprise, AZ. As graduating seniors, we recognized fellow graduates having trouble attracting employment opportunities and getting in front of the right people that could jumpstart their careers. We witnessed hard-working graduates with good GPAs struggle to get into their careers due to a lack of actual work experience and a lack of networking. Due to this, we developed FastTrack Career Connections. FastTrack Career Connections creates a partnership between local and larger businesses and nearby universities/colleges that allows students to experience firsthand what it takes to be successful in their chosen field. It allows employers to access a wider range of local talent and employment prospects while getting to know these individuals before having to pick a candidate. Included in our services, we aid students with finding careers and internship opportunities during their time in college while simultaneously helping local employers find talent coming out of college. We accomplish this through two methods: recruiting and networking events. We hold networking events around the greater Phoenix area where we invite local employers to come and speak with a select group of highly dedicated college students looking to jumpstart their careers. These events allow students and employers to develop relationships, opening the door to internship opportunities and post-college job offers. When it comes time to find a job, we direct students to our large pool of employment connections to find the best fit for that individual. This model increases employee satisfaction and retainment while simultaneously benefiting employers by increasing employee productivity and experience while decreasing churn rate and the costs associated with rehiring and training.
