About Fat Chilli Art Projects for Schools

Fat-Chilli is based in Elland, West Yorkshire and was set-up in 2008 to support fundraising efforts in schools and nurseries across the UK in a unique and innovative way. The company works with schools and nurseries on a project basis where children design artwork that is then reproduced professionally by Fat-Chilli and sold to friends and family throughout the school, nursery and local community. Of the money raised, 10-25 per cent of the total sale price is used towards the fundraising objectives of the schools and nurseries that participate in the project – this is generally allocated to either purchase equipment to improve their own educational facilities or to donate to charities they support. Funds raised over the years have been contributed to a variety of projects such as playground developments, computer or book purchases for the schools and nurseries. Donations have also been made to a range of charities, from the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, Action for Children, Comic Relief, The British Red Cross, Calderdale Flood Relief. Fat-Chilli has currently raised in the region of £120,000 for UK Schools, Nurseries, and Charities.
